Synopsis

Suffering from congenital hearing loss and physical disability a 14-year old Muhammed Ali Çimen, started swimming 2 years ago. Muhammed Ali arrives to swimming pool on a wheelchair with the help of his grandmother and grandfather, and after warming up period, gets into the water with the support of his hands. Muhammed Ali, in his own words, who steps into the “freedom” and shows no sign of disability, wins 5 times the first place, 1 times the second place, and 2 times the third place medal. The current goal of Muhammed Ali is to attend European and World Championships.

In this documentary, by recording his selection to the national team and his preparations to European and World Championships, we aim to document how a young person can overcome the obstacles within his limited means when he sets his sight on a goal.
